EnveoTon Silicon
Product description
EnveoTon Silicon is a facade dispersion paint developed based on high-quality silicone resin and polymer emulsion. The selected polymers and additives provide excellent resistance and durability against atmospheric exposure.
Area of application
It is intended for protecting both new and old load-bearing facade surfaces. It is suitable for application on cement and limebased substrates, concrete, as well as existing decorative plasters and paints in facade systems with EPS and mineral wool. May be toned in a large number of tones in line with Weber tone card.
Product benefits
Great elasticity
Excellent water repellency
High vapor permeability
UV resistance
Great coverage

Cleaning
Residue of fresh product can be cleaned from the tools and surfaces with water. Solid products may be removed only mechanically.
Product limitations
Facade primer EnveoTon Silicon cannot be used in the following situations:
- With facade systems containing moisture
- With insufficiently supported surfaces
- At temperatures for storage, transport, application and drying lower than +5˚C and higher than 30˚C,
- With surfaces containing algae and fungus
Preparation and application
Surface preparation
Surface on which the product is applied must be clean, solid, dry, without traces of grease and oil, supported and without parts falling off. Cement-lime plasters and concretes must be at least one month old, with moisture residue equal or less than 2%. Coatings with low support and parts that are falling off, coatings that are water soluble (during surface washing) should be fully removed and repaired with appropriate material prior to application of the primer. Surfaces contaminated with mold and algae should be washed with hot water and disinfected with appropriate products.
Very absorptive and old surfaces should be covered with weberprim deep primer diluted with pure water in a 1:3 to 1:6 ratio, depending on the absorbency and condition of the surface. Apply the primer at least 12 hours before applying the façade paint.
Product preparation and installation
- Prior to the start of works it is necessary to properly mix the facade paint to the bottom of the bucket and afterwards, joint the material from different lots and/or packages in one large vessel for tone harmonization (equalizing). If required add pure water up to 20% for the first coating of the paint, that is 10% for the second coating of the paint, and then mix to full homogenization.
- Apply weberton acrylic on the prepared surface with roller or brush in at least two layers, in order to achieve full coverage of the surface and get the required paint tone. Application should be done consistently and in continuity, in order to achieve consistency of the application and consistent drying. Apply the second layer after the first layer is fully dry, that is, 6 h at the earliest from the application of the first layer of paint in optimum weather conditions. Tones with HBW index lower than 30% should be used only for small surfaces, such as borders around windows, doors and other openings.
- Facade system must be secured with sills (windows, attic, and similar) to achieve full protection of the window from water penetration and running down the surface. Product should not be used on horizontal surfaces where retention of impurities, water and snow might occur.
- During installation and drying the temperature of the surface and air must be between 5°C and 30°C. Material should be protected from the sun, wind, fog and rain for at least 24h, after which resistance is achieved to atmospheric impact. Recommended method of protection is setting scaffold screens, but this could be insufficient if stated impact is of strong intensity. In case weather conditions do not comply with the stated, it is necessary to stop the work and wait for the optimum conditions.
*All stated parameters refer to standard weather conditions: temperature 20°C, relative humidity up to 65%.
- It is recommended to regularly maintain the facade surface, by de-dusting the layers of dust and by removing traces of dirt using hot water and/or cleaning products. Regular maintenance shall reduce the possibility for the occurrence of algae, fungus and extends the useful life of the facade system.
The manufacturer recommends, before the start of works, to perform smaller, test surfaces to check if the product/surface is properly prepared and if the appropriate conditions for use and installation have been provided. If not, please stop the work and contact the representative of SaintGobain građevinski proizvodi d.o.o. Beograd. The company will not be liable for irregular execution of works with stated material as well as use of material for purposes not stated in the product description. Complaints after the completed execution of works shall not be accepted.
Tools
- For mixing: electric mixer or manually.
- For application: roller and/or brush.
Product consumption
Approximately 0,25-0,4 kg/m2 for two layers of facade acrylic paint, depending on the roughness and absorption of the surface, air and surface temperature, type of tools, method of application, etc.
