Product description

Highly vapour-permeable, easy to process façade render for colour and texture of facades, ready for direct application. Thanks to the modified silicate binder, EnveoPutz Premium Active render has properties like silicate façade render but it is not as sensitive to climatic conditions during processing and drying as basic silicate render. The unique formulation provides higher protection of the facade against pollution and growth of micro-organisms, thus significantly prolonging the life of the facade and significantly reducing its maintenance costs.

 

Area of application

The plaster is used for colour and structural design of facades and to protect the building from weathering. Suitable for lime-cement, cement and polymer-cement mortars or as a final finish for external thermal insulation systems (ETICS), for new buildings and renovations. Part of ENVEO thermal insulation systems.
By ETICS tones with HBW index lower than 30 should be used only on small surfaces, such as borders around windows, doors and other openings.

Cleaning

Residue of fresh product can be cleaned from the tools and surfaces with water. Hardened product must be removed only mechanically.

Product limitations

Facade plaster EnveoPutz Premium Active cannotbe used in the following situations:

  • With wooden and metal surfaces
  • For application in several layers and over the existing finishing plaster
  • At temperatures for storage, transport, application and drying lower than +5˚C and higher than +25˚C
  • With surfaces containing impurities and moisture
  • On horizontal treading and roof surfaces.

Preparation and application


Surface preparation

The substrate must be clean, stable, firm, dry, sufficiently flat, cohesive, free of cracks, dust and loose parts and must not shrink. Particularly when renovating, ensure that the substrate is free of all detachable particles, e.g. residues of old paint, peeling parts of plaster, etc. The repaired and restored façade surfaces must match the original plaster in texture and hardness, and the repaired areas must be thoroughly dry before the primer is applied.
The newly formed 3-5 mm thick reinforcement layer for the contact thermal insulation system must be sufficiently cured (minimum 5 days at 20 °C and relative humidity below 70 %).
We recommend that the unevenness of the base layer does not exceed the maximum plaster grain size increased by 0,5 mm over a length of 1 m.
If there is any doubt about the quality of the substrate, it is necessary to check its properties before starting work.

At least 24 hours before applying the facade plaster, thoroughly coat the substrate with a well-mixed, undiluted primer ENVEOGrund. All built-in elements, flashings as well as parts of the façade that will not be plastered must be thoroughly coated before applying the primer.


Product preparation and installation  

  1. Mixing: EnveoPutz Premium Clean should be well mixed before use, ensuring the material at the bottom of each bucket is fully incorporated. Afterwards, homogenize the material from different batches and/or packages in one large vessel to achieve tone alignment (equalization). For the purpose of setting intended consistency of plaster, as necessary, add a maximum of 200 ml of pure water at 25 kg of product. Subsequent adding of water and pigment is not allowed.
  2. Application: Facade plaster is applied with steel trowel at a thickness corresponding to the size of the largest grain. Once applied, the plaster should be finished with a PVC trowel, using light pressure in either circular or straight movements, depending on the desired texture and appearance. The application and finishing process must be continuous to ensure a uniform surface. For optimal results, the number of operators should be aligned with the size of the surface and the number of floors, ensuring that material joints are made while the plaster is still wet, making them invisible upon drying.
  3. Protection: The facade system must be secured with sills to achieve full protection from penetration and drainage of water down the surface. The product should not be used on horizontal surfaces where impurities, water and snow may be retained.
  4. General conditions: During the processing and drying of the material, the temperature of the surface and air must be between +5 °C and +25 °C. The facade should be protected from the impact of direct sunlight, strong winds, draughts and rain for at least 24h, e.g. with a facade protection net., after which period resistance is achieved to atmospheric impact.

    Under conditions that promote rapid drying (e.g., temperatures above 25 °C, strong winds, or heated substrates), the applicator must account for these factors to ensure proper execution, including power supply and structure integrity.

    All stated parameters refer to standard weather conditions: air temperature +20 °C, relative humidity up to 65 %. In lower air temperatures or higher relative humidity, especially in spring and autumn when fog and rain are more frequent, the façade render will dry more slowly.
    If the applied plaster has not fully cured and is not adequately protected from the elements, rain may damage it or cause variations in color once dried.
